Day 2: June 22, 2021

Dear @jstallz @intrinsicpaths -

Only a few observations this morning because I had accidentally pocket-dialed my good friend @christislove777 and heard her voice coming from the depths of my pocket. So, we video-chatted for all but the last few minutes of my walk. I did stop to show her the abandoned build site and saw this GIANT dandelion (Update: It was NOT a dandelion, but a Tragopogon, also known as goatsbeard or salsify, which to quote the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, "Looks like a dandelion on steroids"). Carefully walked through to take a closeup and carefully (original typo =cafmrefulky = hilarious) walked back out (watching for snakes and other creatures with teeth!). 26 minutes, 2681 steps, 1.15 miles.
